The numerous changes expected to take place soon at the top echelon in Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) is causing unrest among the company’s management. Just yesterday, IAI published an announcement to replace the outgoing CEO Yitzhak Nissan, who is expected to retire at the end of the year. In addition to CEO, the position of Human Resources VP and Marketing VP to replace Yair Ramati, who became the head of the Homa Administration at the Ministry of Defense, was also published.
In addition, IAI intends to end the tenure of the company’s legal advisor, Yaacov Galazaan after the Ministry of Treasury found that hundreds of thousands of NIS he received in bonuses were unlawful (he will be forced to return most of the bonus). According to reports, Galazaan is currently taking steps to retire.
A senior company source said, “We hope that the various positions will be manned as soon as possible, given that a vacuum in a company of this size is a bad thing."
Rafi Maor, Chairman of ECI Telecom and Ido Nechushtan, the IAF commander who is expected to retire soon, are two of the names being mentioned recently as potential replacements for Yitzhak Nissan. Another change in appointments includes Eyal Yonian, who was appointed as the company's Finance VP instead of Menashe Sagiv.
